What we say
Mega club with an upscale crowd
Located in the up-and-coming Saúde district near the international airport, Rio's vast megaclub The Week attracts thousands of mostly upscale, shirtless "barbies" ("gym queens") with its cutting edge dance music spun by top international DJs.

Too straight/too many girls! Too far from Copacabana/Ipenema! Too expensive! Drink choice too limited and confusing to order even for our friend from Rio. Outside the bar we waited for 20 minutes to get in only to find people butting in line without security stopping them. The crowd outside in this sketchy "neighborhood" was drinking heavily out of bottles and bags before heading inside...wouldn't have wanted to be without our local!
Not worth the hype!

R$20 to get in the door and R$10 a drink. R$35 cab ride from Ipanema and R$25 back at 3:30 AM.
Makes Le Boy look tired and worn. The crowd is mostly 20s but we didn't feel out of place (30s and 40s).
Filled in at 1:30 and the music was some of the best club music we've danced to in a very long time.
Beautiful crowd of very sexy Brazilian man, quite a few straight girls.

Guys this club to others is the TOP club as they say so, but i am telling u its not all that what they say. Just very lound music and cost a lot of money. Went once and never went again as its not all that. Watch how u by drinks me and BF paid US150 for the night and we each had only 2 drinks but they charge $30- to enter. No good at all.
So, what do you say?
