Posto 9

(3 Ratings)
This is THE spot

This narrow portion of Ipanema is where the queer boys and girls flock from all over the world. The plethora of bars and restaurants nearby make it an excellent start to your day, night, and weekend.

Where the beautiful people go

Just so you know, the posts refer to the lifeguard stations which is also where there are public restrooms that are kept clean and it costs 1 Brazilian Real to use them which pays for their upkeep. They posts start in Leme north of Copacabana beach and continue south along Copacabana and then west across Ipanema and are numbered in order. Posto 9 is known as where the beautiful people go and it is true. There are a lot of gorgeous people to people watch anywhere in Brazil, but Posto 9 is exceptional. There are going to be places anywhere along Copacabana and Ipanema beaches to get drinks and foot and sit along the edge of the beach. This is a great one for the best eye-candy.
