UNACCEPTABLE BAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was not allowed to get in !!! The reception desk staff requires to register personal date from ID or Passport !!! There's no other venue in the world to ask for such kind of data to allow permission in the premises. Maybe the Owner wants to delegate the State Authorities as only Authorities (in the civilized world) have the right to ask demonstration and registration of personal data just to have a drink in their joint!!! Incidentally, has anybody wondered what's the use for it? what is the reason they register and keep records of their clients and what do they do with them????? Have they ever heard of the word privacy and do they have at least respect for those gay men who for some reason do not want to reveal their ID or ..... I thought the law of the jungle is applicable only in the rain forest not in the heart of Ipanema !!! Personally, I have no problem to show some identification (that certain night, I happened to go there by change having no any ID with me) however there must be a specific reason for it. Even if I had my ID along with me I would not allow them to register my personal data. What for ???? The Owners could at least publish their requirements for entrance, to enable us avoid thinking of going there. Whatever the case is, I am curious to know what's the reason for all this offensive entry refusal .........
